i havent really blogged in some time.
i dont know why i havent done so in such a long while.
either cos my fingers dont feel like strumming on the keyboard,
or cos i cant seem to find the time to do it.
and even when i do, it doesnt seem like a priority for me to tell
anyone what i've been up to. perhaps its also cos i've been falling
pretty much in love with the elusiveness of my life and how people
dont know what's been going up with me now. and i quite like that
cos i choose who to tell things to, and i dont have to proclaim to the
whole wide world how i've been doing.
so i like that.
but today, i decide to write cos i realise that it is in writing that i discover things for myself,
that i draw out parallells for events that happen and learn lessons from them.
and i think recently, i've felt that work has been taking a slight toll out of me that i'm losing track of the reason why i even work and what i stand for.
pretty much, i hold a decent job but the responsibilities that has been bestowed upon me
since i entered this nursing world definitely has changed my perspective on life.
in fact, i think it might have changed me. for the better i suppose.
what the hell am i talking?
to cut the chim-analogy short, i must insist that working life is hard ass shit.
for those who have yet to enter the next life, by that i mean the working life of course,
be prepared to make sacrifices. lots of it in fact.
especially when you intend to make this job last.
i can't wait to go to school again. hopefully in 2010,
for an advanced diploma in midwifery or pediatrics.
yes, i know i'm in the obgyn ward and it's only right for me to
attain an adv dip in midwifery
but i secretly have feelings towards neonatal.
by now, i think shidah might be puking her life away reading this from me.
haha.
my facebook status states that i'm thinking of possibilities.
as to what kind of possibilities, i'd rather keep it to myself now.
don't try to probe hokays?
goodnight world.
