of self-discovery and reflection.
because i set such exacting
standards for myself,
i impose these expectations
on others
and have become very intolerant
of stupidity, inefficiency
and ineffectiveness.
this is especially so in the
work environment where
i expect brilliance or,
at the very least,
intelligence.
mind, this doesn't take
away full acknowledgement
that nobody knows everything
and that we can always
find ways to learn
and improve ourselves.
yet i do fear
that this may be my eventual
downfall.
as such,
it will be a deliberate effort
on my part
to be
human.
i am very much a task-oriented, results-oriented
individual but being in the industry
makes me aware that it is also important
to consider being extremely people-oriented.
that, i have to improve on.
