but sometimes,

so you take a step back
and watch as they persevere to get it right,
painful as it is to just observe from afar and see.
we often speak about learning
from the mistakes of others,
to avoid making the same ones on our own.
yet, sometimes,
we have to learn it the hard way
and make the mistakes ourselves.
for that is when the lesson learned
is the most painful,most impactful
and most memorable.
we are wiser, not for knowing the truth,
but by having experienced the pain.
so, let's just lose the cutthroat competitive aura
and just make mistakes. haa.

i'm really doomed to do night duty,
even during my standby period for
the asian youth games. pfft.

we're getting bonus!
lesser than the norm last year
but it's far better than nothing.
cos i'm on my way to save up
for something really major. lol.
so it turned out that the rumours
about not getting it weren't true.

by the end of september,
hopefully me and a few others
will make it as lactation nurses.
