what is love, and how to spot it.
i've dealt with this before, but i think it's time for a rehashing
and updating of my perception of this subject.
love is the end of seeking further.
true, that relationships need working on,
and true, that they need propulsion or eventually die,
but finding love itself would signify the end of seeking any further
than the one you have right there and then.
love is the finality to all the whispers of the social construct we've immersed ourselves in,
from the movies to the tv shows that "suggest" to us the notions of dating, sex and love,
all of which are sadly dictated by human beings as equally confused about it all as we are.
the only difference being that they're equipped with the linguistic ability to postulate these "truths".
so love is the point in time when we can meet someone and give up all possibilities
of dramatic mcdreamy/mcsteamy/dark&twisty romances,
to say "this is enough, i need to look no further",
that one would give up on imagining exciting future relationships,
and just settle and be happy.
the only problem? we're human.
we can never be satiated long enough.
