when i approached my favourite house officer (really, he is my favourite. i'm selective about favourites you know.) today, he had this stupid grin plastered to his face.
and of course it's only natural for people to go, "what's up with the stupid face la?"
"i heard you're the only new staff representing this damn ward for JCI alongside the senior staff nurses!!
idah...you must be so happy LOR!"

"eh betol. i dengar from sister yesterday when you were on off.
wait, i think i know what you're gonna say next. wait let me call kelvin (another house officer) so we can all say it together."
"gahhh. fuck JCI la!"
"idah spoiler sey. wait for kelvin a while also tak boleh."
i don't know whether to laugh about kelvin and him or to cry about the audit.
no he's not malay. he's a chinese who happens to know how to speak malay fluently,
putting me to shame when he talks in MY mother tongue.
so yes. come july 14th to 18th, i will be one of the staff in the hotseat for the auditors to question.
