bird park!

well hello once again, earthlings!
2nd april marked the day when these four fuckers finally set foot into jurong bird park.
here's the thing you see, we're 4 out of the 4.59 million people in singapore who owns
a pink/blue idenfication card which also equals to us being entitled to the singapore spirit of kiasu-ism and probably scrooge-ism.

my goodness.
i must've created a whole lot of new words which are not even fit to be printed in a dictionary.
the point is, we REFUSE to go to these tourists' attractions unless it's free.

who can resist free things?!
so yes, we eventually got free tickets.
we saved $18 per person hokays.

haha. you assholes must be going "they're such cheapos".
seriously, just hear me out.

the last time we got free tickets was when we made a visit to the night safari,
which we thought was a complete waste of money unless you find excitement in
giving your eyesight a challenge for the price of $32
when you can do it in your very comfy little room just by switching off the lights;
for FREE! you even get to save electricity.

funny how they came up with a slogan - see them in a different light.
wait a minute. WHAT light?
but not all was bad though.
not all was bad.

that aside, let's move on to the intended topic.

first up, see that girl there on the left?
if you can't see her, then she's probably too short.
you've got to uhm, shift your chair a tad higher.

okay okay... cheap thrill on my part.

she's holding not one but TWO maps!
but did this greedy little biatch, rajin, help us navigate around?
NO.

now, see these two?
the one on the right, xinni, has always been my personal navigator system.
just like those gps gadgets installed in the car,
only mine literally has a mind and motor mouth of her own
and can't shut up when it comes to belting out oldies.

the first time i drove her and rajin out,
she said, "you drive, i'll direct!"

but we still ended up at the unusual places in singapore.
no, but really, she's the best to read maps amongst us four.

the one on the left also has a motor mouth of his own.
period. haha! the fucker's just posing to look like he's good with maps.
come on, jag, who're you kidding?!

i have three pet monkeys.
'nuff said.

hunger got the better of us, eventually
and we started being a nuisance.
to xinni.

ahh yes. the honeymoon couple.
we once experimented how it'd be like if a chinese girl
has a punjabi boyfriend.

so these two monkeys decided to hold hands and walk
while the other two distanced themselves away
so that they could get a better view on their subjects of experiment.

naturally, a punjabi guy with a turban often makes people stare at him at least twice.
not counting the times heads turn when he laughs.

now, the experiment turned out a success when yours truly actually spotted
a few people turning their heads not twice but at least three times
just to make sure their eyes aren't playing a trick on them.
god knows what global warming can do to our eyesight nowadays.

yes yes. i know.
i'm so full of cheap thrills.

xinni: eh eh. let's follow how the ostrich bury its head in the ground.
me: don't be dumb la, wahlao. (but follows xinni anyways)
jag: hah!! omg! omg! i caught you dumb people on camera!
rajin: (gives us the what-the-fuck-are-you-assholes-doing look)

after rajin pressed the capture button,
the three of us instantaneously said the following:
xinni: did she just shake the camera?
me: damn! the picture surely cock up sia.
jag: wahh laoooo rajinnnn.....

but when we checked, it was gorgeous.
just like that man-made waterfall behind us.
congratulations, rajin!

i like this picture la.
maintained star factor although we know we can pass out from heat exhaustion anytime soon. hah.
