well prior to all that, the trip to the school was urm... interesting. no. that's not the word. funny? err ok la. im lost for good vocabulary rite now. jagdip got to ride in THE manager's car. the unfortunate thing was that he got the slowest ride in his life while we 3 girls (me, xinni & rajin) got the rollercoaster.
ok so i was promoting the course of choice (haha. ok. i sound funny saying that) when one malay girl came up to me and whispered, "can i talk to you in private? please?"
before she even said anything, she cried. buckets. gawd. i said whatever i had to say to her. what made me happy was the way she smiled and thanked me. it was warm and sincere. no i wasnt attracted to her. it made me feel that im needed. thats the first time in many many months that i felt contented with what im actually doing.
putting that aside, we ended earlier than expected. that was when ms aishah had the most bizarre idea. amidst the stinging hot burning weather, she made us 4 go "HAH?" when she said "come lah let's go eat DELIFRANCE. my treat. my way of saying thanks for helping me at the very last minute."
the second time she made us go "HAH?" was the part when she mentioned that she wanted to watch babel and insisted that the 4 of us should accompany her. i dunno abt the rest but i nearly choked on my baked rice.
we had quite some time before the movie started. she suggested that we all make a trip to her crib just opposite tampines mall. it's gorgeous! she has two persian cats and they are oh-so-fat and oh-so-cute. looked thru her albums and shared lots of laughter.
babel's a great movie. the thing is, with great company every movie is nice. =) im all smiles rite now. and this is definitely the first time someone made us go "HAH?" simultaneously.
